Maedaya, meaning Maeda’s Place, is a Japanese specialty outfit that takes pride in serving as many as 60 different varieties of sake to its customers. To echo the Izakaya dining experience, the owner Toshi Maeda wanted to create an informal dining atmosphere. He accomplished this objective by hanging lots of ropes and displaying what he makes best namely sake. Another attraction here is the Japanese charcoal grill set, Sumiyaki that is extensively employed to turn out various juicy meat preparations like chicken meatballs, skin and giblets and grilled eel.
