Verdict
The newest Powershot camera by Canon, the S100, shades this comparison but not by much. The main differences are slightly better image quality, improved zoom function and a friction tab to make it less likely to slip out of the user’s hand. Having said this, both of these cameras are great.

While the S100 is a bit better, it does not justify the difference in price on display at some stores and the S95 may be very good value in the next few months.
