The Quicksand Mat, produced by CGear in Australia, is a novel product that promises sand free enjoyment of the beach. It is made using special multi weave technology, that among many other uses, can allow sand a one way path to fall through the mat without coming back up.

Once the sand falls through, the sand is trapped underneath promising to keep sand away from your day at the coast. Sounds quite good, we have to say.

According to their official website, The Quicksand Mat has soft meshing.

It has a fine, comfortable side that is the top side (easy to spot due to the CGear badge on it) and a more rough, less comfortable one underneath.

The mat comes in four different colours: turquoise, baby blue, ruby red and lime colours. See the picture below to see the colours.

The mat size is two meters by two meters (six feet, six inches by six feet six inches).

The Quicksand Mat comes with a twelve month manufacturer’s warranty. It can be cleaned with water and soap.

The Quicksand Mat is priced at just under 10 Australian dollars with free delivery to Australia available.
