It generates about three hundred billion dollars’ worth of sales in grocery business from the United States alone. Since the first Wal-Mart store was inaugurated in 1962 in Rogers, Arkansas, it has been committed to make a difference in the lives of its customers.
Kroger
Barney Kroger opened a grocery store at Pearl Street in Cincinnati downtown area in 1883. He is famous for coining a business motto which proclaimed that it is better to be specific in your business and not to sell anything that you would not like to buy yourself. KROGER is among the largest retail businesses in the world today. It operates 2,625 stores throughout USA both on direct basis and through its subsidiaries.

Wal-Mart is retailer that offers mega discounts by maintaining a policy of price matching that honors the prices advertised by its competition on identical items that feature quantity, content and brand. Their policy covers all other supermarkets’ shopping card discounts. Wal-Mart has a price edge over KROGER when it comes to branded items.
Wal-Mart is a clear leader when shoppers were asked to rate on quality of food products offered and their overall value. KROGER is expensive when compared with Wal-Mart with its shopping cart averaging to a cost of $93.75 against Wal-Mart’s $85.30.
As far as variety of products offered, KROGER can match up to Wal-Mart’s standards and shoppers say that is has better variety than ALDI. krogers and Walmart are alike by the way they do there worker they do very wrong acton against the worker and do talk to them they tell there lies and they use the true

Kroger is much nicer where I live in every way, cleaner, associates are always friendly and helpful, and the produce is t vs walmarts shriveled offerings, meat dept in WalMart is not a bargain, and looks like you are flirting with a trip to the ER. Kroger is the best place to shop in Muhl.Co. KY.
