Wal-Mart
Wal-Mart is a multinational corporation that does retail business. Wal-Mart Stores Inc. runs a chain of departmental stores popular for the discounts that they offer. It also operates warehouse stores in USA. It has its headquarters in Bentonville in Arkansas.

Wal-Mart was established by Sam Walton in the year 1962 and was registered as a corporation in 1969. Wal-Mart has over eleven thousand stores all over the world. It is the largest retailer in the world in terms of revenue and is also the biggest employer in the world on a private basis as per the Fortune Global 500 List. It has more than couple of million employees.

ALDI
ALDI is the acronym for Albrecht Discount center. It is a German supermarket chain that made its first appearance in USA in 1976. It was first opened in the south eastern region of Iowa. It is one of the leading supermarket chains that offers discount on food products globally. ALDI has over nine thousand stores all over the world with a turnover that is estimated around fifty billion Euros. In the United States of America, it operates one thousand three hundred stores in thirty two states.

Key points for comparison
ALDI is famous for a cost-effective approach towards grocery shopping. It has been reported in industrial journals that shoppers have realized that when they switch from some national brands to ALDI’s exclusive brands, they are able to save almost by half. ALDI has focused on specialising on staple items like food, beverages and sanitary articles.

ALDI does not accept credit cards. It takes only debit cards. Shoppers have also found that almost ninety per cent of the products in its stores are exclusive ALDI brands. It allows the supermarket giant to offer similar high quality in its products pike all other well known supermarket chains and it tries not to pass the hidden costs that are generally associated with business promotion and marketing like the other national brands.

    I agree that Aldi is the better supermarket versus Wal-Mart. Here are the reasons you would benefit shopping at Aldi.
    1. Upon driving into the parking lot you will notice it is so much cleaner because people do not want to loose the quarter they paid to unlock their cart. They lock their cart back up to get their quarter back. You are less likely to get your vehicle dented from a careless person not putting their cart away properly.
    2. True, they do not carry a large variety of products, but the products they do carry are of higher quality. And they are sure to keep seasonal items in stock.
    3. They are excellent about having enough lines opened to allow customers to get through the line quickly.
    4. Aldi does not accept coupons, but they do take cash and food stamps. Which allows those who need to stretch their grocery bill another option than Wal-Mart.
