Tokyo is considered as a metropolitan perfecture, and also a global city. It’s architecture has been shaped by 1923 Great Kanto earthquake, and later firebombing in World War II. Tokyo has many internationally famous forms of modern architecture, including the Tokyo International Forum, Asahi Beer Hall and Rainbow Bridge.
On the other side we have Osaka, city internationally known for its food. Osaka is by many considered as the food capital of the world. It also has a large number of shops, more than 50 thousand, and few museums like the National Museum of Art and Osaka Science Museus. Osaka is host to many annual festivals, with most famous being Tenjin-matsuri.
