Nowadays, when planning to fly, there are so many airlines to choose from. Choices can be made based on different factors, such as reputation, destinations, price, expected inflight service, loyalty program and many more.

When you are a conscious buyer, you like to take well-advised decisions and sometimes reviews from fellow travelers help a lot with this. If you have to decide between two airlines, Thai Airlines and Lufthansa, the first things you would probably like to know is their reputation.

Thai Airways International is the flag carrier and biggest airline in Thailand. Established in 1960 as a joint venture between SAS and the local Thai Airways, it has grown significantly. Today, Thai’s main hub is at the Bangkok airport and the company services more than seventy domestic and international routes.

Lufthansa is Germany’s flag carrier as well as the largest European airline. Founded in 1953, it operates from its main hubs in Frankfurt and Munich airports. Lufthansa also owns Austrian Airlines and Swiss International Airlines. It is a member of the Star Alliance and has a fleet size of 688 currently.

When comparing Thai and Lufthansa it is a good idea to check our what the others are saying by reading their reviews. Traditionally speaking, Lufthansa has a very good reputation when it comes to managing and staying on time. Also, the airline has won recent awards as the Best Transatlantic airline for service quality. This gives you a pretty good idea of what to expect.
