What is better and more comfortable to wear, a T-shirt or singlet?

Singlets

A singlet is relatively more revealing than a T-shirt and this translates into better ventilation which could prove to be a blessing during summers, especially after a run or a particularly strenuous work-out session.

For people who live in tropical climates, a singlet could serve as a convenient all-weather option and it can be worn throughout the year for any outdoor activity. Because it is meant as exercise apparel, singlets as a rule are manufactured in sweat-absorbing fabric and this explains the high comfort level of the wearer. An added advantage is lack of sleeves and it allows for plenty of ventilation.

T-shirts

T-shirts are casual shirts which are multi-purpose in nature and can be used as replacements for singlets while exercising if the weather is cold and the situation calls for protective clothing.

However, these may or may not come in absorbent fabrics, meaning you might have sweat sticking to your skin if the fabric is not the type which absorbs it. Eruption of heat rashes and blisters is also more likely in case of T-shirts than singlet during a work-out. Otherwise, singlet remains limited to a gym while a T-shirt is more versatile and can be worn anywhere.
