Pros, Cons, Difference | ||
Nikon D5300 – This camera is a great buy too because it is 20% less pricey and has GPS facility too to allow you to “Geo Tag” when on move. Both Nikon D5300 and D7100 can detect face when capturing images and both of them are not Touchscreen. They both are different to some extent because D7100 doesn’t supports GPS, is heavier in weight due to slightly bigger screen size and offers less light sensitivity which is maximum at 12,800 ISO in D5300. | Nikon D7100- If you are planning to buy this camera because of its lens, it’s a very wise decision because it offers superb photo quality and it has very fast performance. Both Nikon D5300 and Nikon D7100 are fast and photo quality is also good but Nikon D7100 supports battery life for a longer time than D5300 and a 20% larger viewfinder than its rival. |
Which camera is better for Nikon D5300 vs D7100?
If I were to go for either of them, I would prefer Nikon D5300, it’s less costly and offers “Geo Tag” when on move and also because of the excellent picture quality. Further, D5300 has the ability to create tricky shots, which is not there in D7100.
So which digital camera would you choose? Nikon D5300 or Nikon D7100? Which one would you buy and why? Write your opinion below.
I feel that both these cameras are an excellent choice for an individual but it depends on the type of usage. If I am beginner who has just moved on from the entry level DSLR and is looking for something better but does not want to burn a hole in my pocket, I will go for D5300 as it is a feature rich camera at an affordable cost however if I am a pro and budget is not a constraint for me, I will definitely chose D7100 over D5300 as it has more advanced features which are apt for a professional.
Nikon D5300 vs D7100 – Photography is much more than pressing the button on the right time or adjusting the right settings! That it is why I wouldn’t suggest neither of these cameras to a beginner. Beginners should gain the ability to use their eyes as a camera, and try to have a good picture without using the good features of a good camera. I respect those photographers who can get a good picture even with a 8 megapixel camera.
In other cases I would chose to buy the D7100 because the quality of the pictures I make matters to me a lot. And + you can easily learn to use it, of course if you’ve got experience with Nikons in the past:)
