Luka Modrić is a Croatian player, who plays for Real Madrid. He started his professional career in Dinamo Zagreb and subsequently moved to Tottenham. After a few seasons in the Premiership, a lot of clubs wanted him and the Spanish giant Real Madrid managed to buy him for a fee in the region of £33 million.
Since then, Modric has continued to improve and won La Liga’s Best Midfielder award in season 2013/2014. Modric made his international debut against Argentina in 2006, and has since played in all of Croatia’s big competitions including Euro 2008 and 2012, and World Cup 2006 and 2014. He also won individual awards like UEFA Champions League Team of the Season, UEFA Euro Team of the Tournament, Croatian Footballer of the Year and many more.

In 2014, he joined to Chelsea for a fee of £21 million. That wasn’t surprise because he already played in Chelsea for 3 years before really showing his class at Benfica. As soon as he returned to Chelsea he has proven that he is quality signing and a crucial player for the London team.
Matic started playing for Serbia national team in 2008, later he refused to play while Siniša Mihajlović was coach and is now playing again since being invited to the team under Advocaat. Since the start of the 2013/2014 season, he has been ever present in the first team at Chelsea and is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League currently.

Matic is better now but Modric has been an established for quite a while now so it is a draw!!
Well, I think they are both great players. However, Matic is currently improving his form from game to game and is getting better and better, and Modric isn’t as good at the moment. So I decided to give my vote for Matic.
Modric is better, more attractive, agile and very quick in decision making in attack and defense.
Well looking at their performances i would say Modric is one of the best if not the best midfielder in the world, so clearly my vote goes for Modric.
Nemanja can make Modric if he wanted to that is how good he is. Since coming to Chelsea, he has always been at the very top in all his statistics whereas tell me how Modric is going in Spain which is a worse league??? All in all, we will see by the end of the year what the situation is but we know that Nemanja already has the best tackle of the year, a big bow to the doctor.
My vote for Modric.
Modric is the best midfielder in Spain, and in the FIFA choice, Matic isn’t so it’s obvious who is better.
