Ivan Rakitić is Croatian footballer who currently plays for FC Barcelona as a central and attacking midfielder. He came to Barcelona in season 2013/2014 after great season in Sevilla in season before, where he as captain and lead the team to the Uefa Euro League title. Soon after arrival to Barcelona, he has shown that he deserves his place in first team and game by game he became a key player. Although in youth stages he played for Switzerland national team, when time has come he decided to play for Croatian senior national team. He made his first appearance against Estonia in 2007. Since than he is one of key Croatia players. He has won a lot of individual prizes in his career such as BBVA Fair Play award, Europa League Team of the Season, La Liga Team of the Season and so on.
