Today we are comparing two national airlines, Garuda Indonesia and Malaysia Airlines.
Garuda Indonesia is the flag carrier of Indonesia. Airline is named after the holy bird Garuda of Buddhism. Garuda Airline headquarters are located at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang. It is now one of larger airlines in the world and the 20th member of SkyTeam.
On the other side of the comparison we have Malaysia Airlines, the flag carrier of Indonesia, an elite airline operating flights mainly from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, and from secondary hubs in Kuching and Kota Kinbalu. It is also member of the Oneworld airlines. Their headquarters are located in Subang, Selengor. Despite recent catastrophes involving the airlines, they remain a major player in the Asian market.
