Brisbane is named after Brisbane River on which it is located. It was also a central role in the Allied attacks during World World II, as South West Pacific headquarters.
We are comparing Brisbane versus Melbourne, the capital and largest city of Victoria. It’s also second highest populated city, and leading financial centre of Australia. According to the EIU, Melbourne has been ranked the world’s most liveable city since 2011. Because of being international centre for performing and visual arts, Melbourne is often called Australia’s cultural capital.
