Brisbane is the highest populated and capital city in the Australian state of Queensland. It’s located inside a bend of the Brisbane River, between Moreton Bay and the Great Dividing Range. First European settlement in Queensland was a penal colony at Redcliffe, but it was soon abandoned and moved to North Quay in 1825.
On the other side we have capital city of South Australia, Adelaide. It’s fifth largest city in Australia. In June 2013, Adelaide had an estimated population of around 1.3 million. It was founded in 1836, as new capital for freely-settled British province in Australia. In it early ages Adelaide was shaped by religious freedom and commitment to progressivism and civil liberties.
