He made his international debut versus Portugal in 2003 when he was only 19 years old, and since than he is irreplaceable in squad. He has won a lot of awards such as Footballer of the Year in Germany, UEFA Champions League Team of the Season, FIFA World Cup All-Star Team and so on.

On the other side we have Gareth Bale, a Welsh footballer who plays for Real Madrid and Wales national team, as a winger. He started his career in Southampton, as a left back. Later he was sold to Tottenham where his manager gave him more offensive role. In 2013 he was sold to Real Madrid for a fee around £77 million. He is considered as one of fastest players in the world. He made debut for his national team in 2006 when he was just 16 years old. He has won a lot of individual prizes such as FWA Footballer of the Year, PFA Players’ Player of the Year and UEFA Team of the Year.
