Recently, there has been a flurry of new Bluetooth trackers on the market.
Originating from Europe, a company called Chipolo has recently launched Chipolo Plus, a promising new Bluetooth tracker. Chipolo has already sold more than one million tags across the globe.
It is described on the makers website as the loudest Bluetooth tracker available on the market today.
As with other Bluetooth trackers, Chipolo Plus is a smart tag that helps to prevent and stop valuable and important household items like keys, wallets, phones, bags and in some case even pets from getting lost.
The new Chipolo tag may well be a strong competitor to the more established Bluetooth trackers.
Chipolo Plus works in unison with the Chipolo mobile application that is available on iOS and Android. The app can also be accessed from desktop computers and laptops.
Chipolo Plus is a small, battery powered tag that can slide or attach on to anything that users don’t want to lose. If an item is hard to find, simply clicking a button on the app causes the tag to ring, helping users find or track down the item they have misplaced.
Sounds handy, right?
If it is a phone they have lost (and we all know that this can happen unfortunately) you can simply double press the button on your Chipolo Plus tag to make the phone ring, even if it is on silent.
Chipolo Plus plays a 90 decibel loud tune, which makes it the loudest of the Bluetooth Trackers currently available on the market.
Like other trackers including the established Tile, Chipolo Plus has a non replaceable battery that lasts about 12 months. After this period of time, users will receive a notification and email that offers to replace the Chipolo with a new one for half of the original price.
The company will also arrange the pickup of the old device and the shipping of the new one which sounds convenient.
As mentioned earlier, Chipolo Plus is louder than the original Chipolo Classic and is available in 7 colours, three of which are exclusive to the online store. Additionally, unlike the Classic version, the Plus is also waterproof.
Chipolo still offers its improved original model, Chipolo Classic, which has a replaceable battery but is not waterproof.
